North
Shore Hebrew Academy High School is a yeshiva,
and in the tradition of that distinguished institution
which has kept our people alive through the
millenia we have the responsibility of establishing
within our students yirat Shamayim, fear of
God, as well as ahavat Hashem, love of God.
We believe that the values that emanate from
our text and language classes must not remain
static. Rather, these lessons must guide and
inspire our students to be shomrei mitzvot,
observant Jews, informing their worldviews,
and enriching their life experiences. We are
committed to an Ivrit B'ivrit program that challenges
each student at their own level. |
Furthermore,
as a Modern Orthodox Yeshiva, we nurture a
commitment to Zionism and the State of Israel.
Yom Ha'atzma'ut is celebrated, and Yom Hazikaron
is commemorated. Our students will be taught
to read, write and speak the Hebrew of modern
Israel, so that they may function equally as
members of Klal Yisrael
